Quick start
- Install Clean Player and choose Full media access or pick folders.
- Open Library, switch Music / Video, then tap a file to play.
- Music keeps playing in the background with notification controls.
- Video opens fullscreen; tap the screen for controls. HW / SW switches decode mode.
Common issues
No media yet / empty library - grant media permission, tap Rescan, or pick folders in Settings. After the first successful scan the list is cached for the next launch.
Video stutters - try the opposite HW/SW setting on the video screen. Hardware is faster on most phones; software can help with some files.
Donate / lifetime ad-free - one-time unlock in Settings → Donate. Purchases need Google Play. Use Restore purchase after reinstall.

Privacy & data
Read the Privacy Policy. Clean Player does not create a cloud account - uninstall the app to remove local data.
